Case Study – Maternity Clinic
About This Course
Welcome to the CASE STUDY – MATERNITY CLINIC online course, where we aim to apply and reinforce the knowledge acquired during the Healthcare Facility Planning and Design course. The objective of this case study is to guide participants in developing typical initial project documents for a maternity clinic that will be implemented in West Africa.
Throughout this course, we will explore and analyze the key elements involved in the planning and design of healthcare facilities. We will examine a variety of project documents, including a Bubble Diagram, a Design Review, a Room Programme, a Room by Room List, and a Bill of Quantities, to create a comprehensive understanding of the process.
Our focus will be on developing a functional and efficient maternity clinic that meets the unique needs of the West African context. By the end of the course, participants will have gained practical experience in applying planning and design principles to a real-world healthcare project.
Join us as we embark on this exciting journey towards building a sustainable and effective healthcare facility. Let’s put our knowledge into action and make a difference in the lives of mothers and babies in West Africa.
